Get your .ART DNS and ENS domain names

The .ART generic top-level domain registry is launching a matching system between traditional domain names created in the DNS (Domain Name System) and ENS (Ethereum Name Service) domain names minted on the Ethereum blockchain. At this stage, the registry gives priority to the owners of DNS domain names. Thus, only the owner of a DNS .ART domain name is authorized to register the corresponding ENS .ART domain name and vice versa. This rule is timely and appreciated for both ethical and legal reasons.

Ulvi Kasimov, founder of .ART Domains founder of .ART domains said:

“We are thrilled to launch this new feature that connects Web2 and Web3 with our unique .ART extension. We believe that this will open up new possibilities for artists, collectors, curators, galleries, museums and anyone who wants to express themselves creatively online or on Web3. Our vision is to make .ART domains not only a digital identity but also a digital asset that can be used in various ways on different platforms.”

At its nascent stage, the Web 3 is intensively associated with cryptocurrencies, on the one hand, and visual and sound arts, on the other. The approach of the .ART registry is therefore welcome, and the timing is wise.
